Bí đỏ gọt vỏ, bỏ ruột bí, thái thành những que nhỏ. Chín sôi nồi nước, cho bí đã thái vào luộc chín tới thì vớt ra để ráo nước. Tách lấy lòng đỏ trứng muối, đem nướng chín rồi cho vào chén nghiền nhuyễn.
