Mình đi ăn ở mấy quán lẩu, nhà hàng hay quán đồ nướng ngoài lề đường... đều thấy có chén sốt muối ớt xanh. Ăn vào chua ngọt, rất dễ chịu, chấm với đồ nướng, hải sản cái gì cũng ngon ấy. Để ý kĩ thì thấy chén sốt đó thường có vỏ chanh nữa.
Chanh vắt lấy nước cốt. Nhớ lấy rây lọc bỏ hạt đi nếu ko sẽ bị đắng.
Rửa sạch ớt, bỏ hạt ớt đi và để thật khô ráo. Nếu ớt còn dính nước thì nước chấm muối ớt xanh sẽ không để lâu được.
Cho ớt, 70gr đường trắng, 10 gr muối vào máy xay sinh tố, xay thật nhuyễn. Cứ xay được một chút dừng lại rồi xay tiếp đến khi tất cả nguyên liệu hòa trộn thật đều vào nhau.
Cuối cùng, cho nước cốt chanh vào, xay thêm 1 lần nữa. Cho thêm lá chanh vào để tăng hương thơm nước chấm. Không chỉ chấm hải sản ngon mà sốt muối ớt xanh còn thích hợp để ướp hải sản trước khi nướng. Nước sốt cay cay, thơm lừng, chua ngọt hài hòa ướp cùng hải sản nướng, chân gà nướng hay cá nướng thì ngon không để đâu cho hết.
