Trộn đều phần bột ướt sau đó dùng màng bọc thực phẩm phin lại, để vào ngăn mát tủ lạnh qua đêm.
Sau khi bỏ hỗn hợp bột ướt từ trong tủ lạnh ra thì cho vào máy nhồi bột hoặc nếu không bạn chuẩn bị sẵn một âu lớn cho tất cả phần nguyên liệu bột khô (trừ bơ) kèm phần bột ướt đã ủ từ hôm trước vào. Nhào bột thật kỹ nếu nhào bằng máy thì cần khoảng 10 phút sau đó thêm bơ vào và tiếp tục bấm máy thêm 10 phút nữa, còn làm bằng tay thì bạn nhào cho tới khi hỗn hợp bột đồng nhất rồi cho bơ đã để ở nhiệt độ phòng vào tiếp tục nhào, trong quá trình nhào bột nếu bột bị dính tay, bạn có thể rắc thêm chút bột áo, sau đó nhào cho tới khi bột dai, dùng tay kéo bột thành màng mỏng là được.
Chia bột thành 2 viên bằng nhau. Dùng màng bọc thực phẩm phin kín bột lại, ủ bột ở nơi có nhiệt độ ấm áp khoảng 30 độ C chừng 1 giờ hoặc tới khi bột nở gấp đôi. Sau đó lấy bột ra chia bột làm 2 viên bằng nhau.
Dùng cây cán bột cán mỏng bột vài lần để cho xẹp bớt bọt khí. Sau đó xoay dọc miếng bột cuộn lại.
Rắc chút bột mì vào khuôn để chống dính sau đó đặt 2 viên bột đã cán vào 2 đầu của khuôn. Dùng khăn ướt đậy lên khuôn để bột nghỉ thêm 30 phút. Làm nóng lò nướng ở 185 độ C.
Khi bánh đã ủ xong, quét một lớp lòng đỏ trứng mỏng lên mặt bánh. Đem nướng bánh khoảng 25-30 phút là bánh chín.
